NICE TO MEET YOU
Sophia Sherman is an actor with a Type A work ethic and a Type B sense of humor. Although she's originally from a small beach town in Connecticut, she has the edge and humor of someone who grew up in a significantly cooler city. She began her acting journey playing the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, which revealed her passion for comedy and character study. Over her artistic evolution, Sophia has combined her sense of humor with her dramatic conservatory training from the University of Michigan's BFA Acting program.
PERSONAL MISSION
I want to create thoughtful, provocative, alleviating, and enlightening work. As Philip Schaffer said, "I am tired of not having fun." I want all of my work to be a space for joy, exploration, and growth.
MORE ABOUT SOPHIA
Sophia pursued acting and performance arts management at the University of Michigan. In her time at the University, she treasured her training in movement, stage combat, and on-camera acting. She is now an SAFD-certified actor combatant and is ready to kick some ass.

Sophia has moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screen acting. She continues to train her comedy chops at The Groundling's School and has loved using these skills in her most recent projects, Cotton Candy Bubble Gum and Rabbit.

In summation, she'd love to make you laugh, fall in love, and then fight you to the death. If all else fails, Sophia will simply run away and join the circus to do aerial acrobatics.
